End Discrimination Against Coptic Footballers!
Send a message to the Egyptian Football Association today, demanding they end discrimination against Coptic Footballers. There is not a single Copt on the Egyptian national or reserve team. Of the 540 players in the top-flight soccer clubs in Egypt, only one is Coptic.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) is a member association of FIFA and required to uphold its statutes.
"Discrimination of any kind against a country, private person or group of
people on account of race, skin colour, ethnic, national or social origin,
gender, disability, language, religion, political opinion or any other
opinion, wealth, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other
reason is strictly prohibited and punishable by suspension or expulsion." ~ FIFA Statues, Article 4.1
